Our Story

Decore Upholstering Co. Inc. was est. in 1938 by my grandfather Michael J. Pergola. He developed a business that has been passed down through generations. Now almost 75 years later the business has been passed down to me James M. Pergola.

When I was a young boy my family introduced me to the business. I developed a passion for the trade that came naturally. Now 33 years later I have mastered the craft of making custom furniture.

Our company manufactures and designs high quality custom upholstery furniture as well as, special made to order pieces made to your individual needs, reupholster your existing furniture or redesign it as well, restoring antiques to its original condition, cushions, and all other aspects if the trade.

We deal strictly to the trade.

Every new piece is made by hand at our shop from frame to finished product, using only the best supplies available. We use the same techniques that we used centuries ago. Our company has the reputation for producing the finest quality furniture.
